I finally completed Kingdom Hearts 1 after so many years of struggling and quitting the game halfway through and it's truly such an incredible game. All of the worlds are peak especially Deep Jungle and the boss fights are cool yet frustrating. The story is so engaging too with Sora trying to find Riku and Kairi and the moments you get to have with them are touching. His friendship with Donald and Goofy is really sweet and it's nice to see the way it develops throughout the game. It was interesting seeing Riku succumb to the darkness as he believed he was doing it to save Kairi only to be deceived and for his body to be taken possession of by Ansem. It was so good and even the voice acting in this game is incredible especially in the last confrontation between Sora and Ansem on the beach, the dialogue was so peak in that entire scene.

The end of the game from Hollow Bastion to End of the World was such an incredible experience, especially when Sora sacrifices himself to save Kairi and you have to play as a heartless as you try and get back to your friends. I was genuinely not expecting that at all and it was such a unique twist. I like that Sora fought the massive heartless he clashed with at the beginning of the game as it comes full circle as we started Sora's journey with this fight and now it ends in the same way. Then all those different phases of the Ansem fight were testing my patience but absolutely worth it to get to the end.

I've always been someone that struggled playing video games like this but it's truly awesome that I was able to push myself to never give up and make it to the end. I'm going to be playing through all the games and I can't wait to get properly into this franchise.

I finally completed KH1! I absolutely love this game
