Question about continuing one piece after dropping it

For context, I have watched one piece all the way up until the alabasta arc, which I completed, and then dropped the show entirely.

I know the alabasta arc is one of the most well regarded, but the pacing was just too slow for me. I’ve seen all the hype for water seven though and want to give one piece one more chance.

It’s been several months since dropping it however and I don’t really want to rewatch the arcs I have watched so would it be okay to simply watch a recap and then continue onto the arcs I haven’t watched?
