What we got done with VOID Network in the last 48 hours

Over the last 48 hours, we pushed VOID Network through a serious Mainnet-0 hardening sprint.

This was not a “new logo, new roadmap, trust us bro” update. The work was mostly proof surface, public-node safety, route contracts, DataNet verification, Work Credit boundaries, and cleaning up old transaction paths so the network has a safer base before opening more public behavior.

Here is what got done:

We merged the public node route manifest contract into main. That means the public node now has a machine-readable route manifest that can be checked against a contract instead of relying on vibes or manual inspection.

We proved the public node route manifest green. The manifest route is reachable, required public paths are present, sensitive paths are absent, policy mismatches are empty, and the nested proofs underneath it are green too.

We hardened the public route contract. Public routes are checked against expected behavior, sensitive routes stay hidden, local diagnostics stay local, and legacy txsubmit paths are not leaking back into the public surface.

We cleaned up the transaction hotpath. The canonical txsubmit path is the one that matters now, and legacy txsubmit scans are coming back zero. That matters because duplicate or legacy transaction paths are how you get confusing behavior, unsafe edge cases, and future operator pain.

We pushed the public node route index and route manifest into a more inspectable shape. The goal is simple: outside testers, participants, and future agents should be able to see what public routes exist without exposing operator-only or dangerous internals.

We advanced DataNet public verification surfaces. DataNet is being treated as proof infrastructure, not just storage. The public explorer surfaces are designed to show what can be verified while keeping mutation, ledger writes, wallet sends, VOID transfers, Work Credit awards, and validator mutation closed unless explicitly opened by proof-backed lanes.

We also kept building the Work Credit path without pretending it is live before it is ready. The recent WC work focuses on quest lanes, reviewer decision packets, award recommendation holds, and future ledger-write packet shapes. That means we are defining how useful work could eventually become Work Credits, while keeping actual issuance and ledger writing gated until the controls are proven.

The Buy VOID side is also being kept conservative. The current participant flow is built around Base/Ethereum native USDC, self-custody wallets, participant-page initiation, no blind deposits, no exchange/custodial sends, and operator-verified fulfillment. Payment confirmation is not treated as automatic VOID delivery.

The theme of this sprint was: make the public surface real, inspectable, and boringly safe before opening more power.

VOID Network is still early. Mainnet-0 is intentionally conservative. But the last 48 hours moved the project from “we have pieces” toward “we have proof-backed public surfaces with clear boundaries.”

That is the direction we want: public where it should be public, guarded where it should be guarded, and no fake claims that something is live before the proof says it is live.

Current focus: public-node hardening, DataNet verification, Work Credit proof lanes, Buy VOID safety boundaries, and keeping Mainnet-0 honest.
