Staff & Survey
I recently returned from my first cruise on Princess, Royal Princess to Alaska. We chose the walk in dining option and only ate there a few times after the first night took over 2 hours. Two instances after dinner, the waiter came to our table asking to be mentioned on the survey. The first time, the waiter asked if I had a phone with me. I told him yes and he asked me to get it out and take a photo of a card with his name and a note that said click all 10's for the survey. It was a little awkward as he watched to make sure I was taking a picture of it. The second time, a different waiter made a mouse out of a napkin for my kids which we thought was super nice. He then comes out with a stack full of business type cards and hands us one with the same info, his name and to click all 10's on the survey.
I understand the survey is important, but it felt a little disingenuous. I would also be more understanding if we had the same waiter every night, but we had a different one each time. Has anyone else experienced this?
