How long do Upwork appeals usually take to get a response?

Trying to get a sense of timelines from people who've been through this. My account access got locked, I submitted an appeal a few days ago explaining the situation (I'm currently travelling, so I've been logging in from a different country than usual — I think that tripped an automated flag), and offered to do ID verification. No response yet.

For anyone who's appealed:

• How long did it take to hear back?
• Did a location/travel flag like this get resolved, or is it usually final?
• Anything that actually sped up Trust & Safety, or is it just waiting?
• Is following up okay, or does that slow the review?
