Positives of children getting older?

I see so many posts across parenting subreddits from people with babies/newborns about how happy and content they are, the amazing things they do and how they're treasuring every moment.

My LO will be two soon and it's so devastating I won't be able to experience any of that again (in my early 30s now so not sure if I'll be able to have anymore). What do you enjoy about your children being older? And how do I make the most of it? I always worry I'm not.
