Feeling lost after the first 7 months of gym

Question For The Community

Hello guys! This is my very first post here. As the title says, I started going to the gym about 7 months ago. I've been doing home workouts before that on and off but decided to finally start a gym journey because I was unable to progressive overload at home.

The first 6 months were great. I was making steady progress, recovering well, getting stronger and looking better. I was trusting the progress really hard. Up until recently.

My workout split is PPL and I try to take a break after each 3 workout cycle but since I progressed to heavier weights, I found this split too exhausting. I end up regressing on my main lift and doing absolutely terrible on the rest of the lifts after taking the main lift to failure.

I would try Upper/ Lower but I find it really hard to cram both push and pull exercises into one workout without spending 2-3 hours in the gym and doing junk volume. Also I don't even know how I would organize 2 opposing muscle groups in a workout in terms of exercise order.

Needless to say that I am natty and I train to failure. I eat well, sleep 7 hours every night, drink coffee and eat carbs before working out. I think my problem should be either the split, the exercise order or the selection of exercises for each workout (doing both squats and deadlifts on the same leg day for example).

What can I do to get past this? It hurt my motivation and lately I've been showing up in the gym less days a week because I feel like I keep getting weaker instead of stronger. Any and all advice is welcome and don't be afraid to be harsh with me.
