Exam booking for L1 (Feb 2027)

Hi all,

I have completed the ACA (The UK version of the CPA)

I want to register for the Feb 2027 level 1 exam however I am little unsure on how it works, I want to buy the Mark Meldrum course which will cost a certain amount however how do I actually pay/ book the Feb 2027 exam.

Is it a case of registering on the CFA website there are 3 packages I can pick on the CFA.

Do people usually just pick the cheapest package on the CFA so that the exam is booked in then pay an extra amount for resources like Mark Meldrum/ Kaplan.
