Not sure if I will get answers

I’m looking for outside opinions because I’m not sure if I’m overthinking this. I had a best friend in middle school, but we stopped being friends in 7th grade. Im 24 now and we haven’t been close since. I still follow her on social media, so I occasionally see updates about her life. The weird part is that her current boyfriend went to high school with me. We talked back then, but it was never serious. He knew I used to be friends with her because I had told him we weren’t friends anymore.

Now, years later, he watches every single one of my Instagram stories from one of my accounts, but he doesn’t follow me. I actually have two Instagram accounts. one from high school (he follows this one ) and another I made after high school where I mostly post pictures of myself. He watches my stories consistently even though we don’t talk and he doesn’t follow me. Would you tell your old friend about this? Would you message him and ask why he’s watching my stories? Or would you just ignore it? Am I reading too much into this?
