This is going to be a controversial Take, as Sunny's Trump card is Shadow Dance. But Shadow Dance is not overpowered as Everyone makes it out to be...

**Small Clarification:** \[I do agree that Shadow Dance is the most OP Aspect Legacy, and that Sunny can become anyone with it. My main problem stems from how everyone upscales more than what it can currently do without solid evidence..\]

**Takes Time and Effort:**

Sunny himself had stated that the difficulty of Copying someone drastically increases if he is copying someone whom he has little understanding of. So far, he has only copied those whom Sunny had deep and intricate understanding of, like Saint and Serpent..

I have legit seen arguments where Sunny can apparently copy Mordret, Another Divine Aspect Holder. This is completely false under my understanding. We don't even know Mordret's True Name, let alone the Name and function of Mordret's Aspect. Even G3 himself apparently stated that Mordret was using his Aspect in the wrong way. So I don't think Sunny can copy Mordret's Divine Aspect, as Mordret himself is apparently using it incorrectly.

I can understand the Argument that Sunny can theoretically become Nephis due to their Connection and feeling her Aspect and Flaw. But Sunny becoming anyone else like Mordret or Cassie feels extremely Far Fetched...

**The Sacred Archon Argument:**

The fight against the Sacred Deathless revealed that Sunny can't shadow Dance against the Archon, as the Archon doesn't embody anything for Sunny to be an antithesis of...

Now, that doesn't mean that Shadow Dance was "useless" in that fight, but rather its ability became limited, or rendered somewhat disabled...

Sunny's Shadow Dance loses most of its threat if the opponent is someone Sunny can't be an antithesis of, which is to become something that can harm his opponent, or have protection against them.

**The Slayer Situation:**

During Sunny's Fight against the VTB, his thoughts drifted into becoming two beings. The first being Slayer. However, during the process of copying Slayer, he realised that he couldn't become her, as he couldn't Copy Slayer's \[Pure Soul\] Attribute. This shows that whatever reason there may be, Sunny can't fully copy and turn into Slayer.

Would the situation change in the future? Maybe, but until then, it should be noted that Sunny can't copy Someone like Slayer.

(It most likely has to do with her losing her sense of self after killing Weaver)

**The Vile Spawn Situation:**

I've seen arguments where people say that Sunny can Shadow Dance easily, as Vile managed to use shadow dance with little to no difficulties... And I do somewhat agree with that. But there is more to it..

Vile was born as a shadow, and therefore had a natural talent at shadow dancing as she's a shadow. But Sunny is a Shadow and a Human.. whenever he shadow dances, it does affect his sense of self in a negative way, as in he starts to forget his original self that is still Human. His True Name and Chain does help, but it shows that Sunny can't use shadow dance as easily as the Vile Spawn, at least for now....

**The Corruption Argument:**

I've seen a lot of posts where People make the argument that Sunny can become immune to Corruption by Copying Nephis. Under all the collected evidence, it is definitely possible for Sunny. BUT there's an unseen problem.

If Sunny turns into Nephis and becomes immune and happens to hear the True Names of the Void Beings, what happens after he turns back into himself? Would the Corruption then start to affect him after dismissing shadow dance?

How do we know that Corruption wouldn't just affect Sunny after he dismisses his Nephis Form, with him still remembering the Void Being's True Names or the knowledge about Corruption??

Even with the Mirror Of Truth, Sunny still had to close his eyes and not succumb to the Void Being's True Names...

The Argument that Shadows are naturally more resistant against Corruption also has miniscule impact as Sunny is currently the least resistant against Corruption among Nephis and Mordret, and that The Shadow Realm is also slowly succumbing to Corruption.

These are all my personal points as to Why Shadow Dance is not as Overpowered as Everyone makes it out to be... Maybe in the future, Sunny could become Slayer or shadow dance as easily as Vile. But until then, we shouldn't take in that Sunny currently can copy anything and everything with little effort...

Dangerous Take: Shadow Dance Is Not As Overpowered As Everyone Makes It Out To Be
