Imagine if Dark Forest was the first single

I've only listened to the album like 3 times so far and I just can't stop thinking-- HOLY SHIT Dark Forest is as bonkers as they hyped it up to be! And more than that it has a magical flow to it. The song really is off the leash and let free to be whatever it wanted to be. And it has everything! Arpeggios! Orchestras! Weird sci-fi lyrics! A cinematic vibe! Fucking big chugging guitars and operatic singing! A gosh darn choir!

Imagine if instead of Be With You, THIS was the single. The theories in the subreddit would be insane. Matt would've been like "shit these nerds don't need Cryogen they get what's going on. And look at Dom, he's positively glowing, he loves Reddit! :D"

And while I'm ending this impressions posts -- does Chris just fucking eat other bassists for breakfast? This whole album the man is playing like rent is due. There are so many fun little riffs and moments and you just know that Chris is flaunting. He's one of the best bass players alive, even people who hate Muse swallow back the bile to go "but their bassist does indeed kick ass."
