Whats your thoughts of living in Sydney vs Melbourne

I’m from Adelaide and thinking about moving to either Sydney or Melbourne.

I keep hearing completely different opinions about both cities — some people say Sydney is better for lifestyle and weather, others say Melbourne has better culture and student life.

Would love to hear from people who actually live or have lived in either city. Things like cost of living, making friends, jobs, transport, nightlife, overall vibe, etc.

What do you guys think? Which would you choose and why?
