Tenant Receipts – An app I built for renters
Hi everyone!
Over the past several months, I've been working on an Android app called Tenant Receipts, and I'm excited to finally share it.
The idea came from my own experience. I had to take my landlord to court over repairs they refused to make, and I quickly realized that proving my case was almost harder than dealing with the repairs themselves. I spent hours digging through old text messages, emails, photos, and notes just to build a timeline of everything that had happened.
After going through that, I decided to build the app I wish I'd had from the beginning.
Tenant Receipts helps renters keep all of that information organized in one place. Some of the features include:
• Create and store repair requests and document requests.
• Generate professional letters, emails, or text messages for your landlord.
• Keep photos and supporting documentation attached to each request.
• Set follow-up reminders so important requests don't get forgotten.
• Maintain a complete timeline of communications for your records.
• Access U.S. state-specific tenant rights information and legal aid resources.
The app is currently available for Android and is designed for renters in the United States, since the legal resources and templates are based on U.S. laws.

This is my first public app, so I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts. Whether it's feature ideas, UI suggestions, bugs, or things that could make it more useful, I'm open to all feedback.
Thanks for checking it out!
