Getting rid of body hair with hormones ?

Hi everyone (english is not my first language i apologize)

I am 22F and i have been struggling with bodyhair since i started puberty. My bodyhairs are not excessive like you can find in women with PCOS ( or PMOS) but they are everywhere and very visible. I started laser in october 2025 for my arms but i can t do my whole body because it is super expensive. In reddit i saw a lot of people talking about IPL and i am thinking of buying one BUT :

I can t do my back with an IPL on my own, and i am scared to shave some part of my body like my chest and my back.

For now i have been bleaching my body hair (chest, back, shoulders) everysummer and epilating my legs, thighs, belly and armpit.

My question now is : has anyone already take hormonal treatment to reduce their bodyhair and what are the results.

I am asking here because to be honest this insecurity is so hard for me to talk about that even to doctors i am to scared.

For the time, if anyone have any advices i will gladly take them.
