2012 Outback — vehicle drifts slightly to the left and right while driving straight, slight vibration while braking, clunking noise when I go over bumps, and it makes a popping noise when I turn while braking. Any guesses?

So, to preface this, I should say that my Outback was in a collision about a year ago. The damage was almost entirely cosmetic and did not affect the frame or alignment of the vehicle. I had to replace both headlights, the bumper cover, a fender, and a few other front end pieces related to these parts. The only items that weren’t cosmetic/exterior pieces were 1) a bend in the passenger side of the radiator support assembly, which was easily straightened, and 2) the mounting bracket for the front end of my driver side fender, which was warped and had to be bent back into place. Everything is back in order now, and aside from a dent in the hood, you’d never suspect the car was in a collision. I also recently got new tires and had an alignment, so I don’t think that is where the issue is coming from.

There’s no apparent damage to any of my CV joints, sway bars, struts, brakes, rotors, or really anything affecting the way the car drives and steers (or at least there wasn’t any noticeable signs of damage between the collision and when this problem started). My lug nuts are all tightened properly. It drove just fine after the collision, and drives just fine now that it has been repaired, aside from the issues listed below (which started just recently).

It doesn’t consistently pull to the left or right while driving — if I take my hands off the wheel, it will drive straight for a good long distance — but after a while it suddenly drifts, as if I quickly tweaked the wheel to avoid an object in the road. It does this *very slightly* — it’s very easy to correct by turning the wheel to counteract it and recenter myself in the lane. But it’s a very quick change, and definitely isn’t due to the unevenness of the road. However, it seems to do this when I hit a bump, too, and much more than it does in other vehicles I’ve driven on the same road.

Along with this, I notice a very slight vibration while braking if I’m slowing down from a speed of about 70mph, or if I have to hit the brakes harder than usual. The vibration can just barely be felt, but I know it’s there because it causes my phone to vibrate while sitting in my dashboard mount.

I also hear a distinct “clunk” when I go over a pothole or bump. It sounds like a strut that is bottoming out, but it’s not. I’ve jacked the car up and checked all struts, springs, wheels, etc., and everything is rock solid, so I’m not sure where the issue is. I also notice that if I’m braking hard and turn the wheel (i.e. when slowing down to pull into my driveway), there is a single popping sound coming from one of the front wheels. I can’t tell which.

Based on all of this, does anyone have a guess as to what the issue might be or where it’s coming from? I intend to take it to a shop soon if I can’t figure this out myself, but the nearest shop that will work on Subarus is about 90 minutes away. I did all of the repairs after the collision myself, so I would prefer to do this myself as well if it isn’t too complicated.
