Regimen lab questions

Hey everyone, I recently got the regimen lab Azeilic acid. I find it a bit hard to spread and want to mix it with their wave serum. Im a bit confused because I have read that putting Azeilic acid on top of wet skin can increase the absorption of it. Does mixing it with a serum count as putting it on wet skin? Sorry if this is dumb!
