Travel sleep recommendations?

my son will be 20 almost 21 months when we go on vacation. he is almost 36 inches. he sleeps in a crib at home with his room blacked out. on vacation last year we used the blqckout tent over a pack n play and he slept just as well as he does at home. but that was a year ago so I’m worried he won’t sleep as well in a pack n play. how long / how big were your babes when they were still able to sleep in one? I cant black out the room so I need to be able to use the blackout tent and can’t find any alternatives for a full size crib 😩
