**Sci-fi/fantasy novel – plant with symbiotic feeding mechanism used as torture device**

Looking for a book I read a fragment of years ago. It was in Romanian, likely translated from English, published more than 20 years ago. The tone was straightforward sci-fi/fantasy adventure, set in a fantasy world.

The specific scene I remember involves a man who owns a plant with a peculiar biological attribute: the plant's feeding mechanism is based on male semen, and the flower has evolved or adapted specifically to extract it — a symbiotic relationship by nature.

The man in question uses this plant as a torture device. He has fitted it with a small pump that prevents the plant from fully assimilating the nourishment, so it never reaches satisfaction and never stops. He has also added sand inside the plant to intensify the experience.

This may be a relatively minor scene or subplot within a larger novel — not necessarily the main plot. The overall tone of the book was not erotica; it read like a standard sci-fi or fantasy adventure.

Any leads appreciated — author, title, series name, anything.
