I built a Minecraft Java client from scratch without knowing any programming languages. Here is my 16-day AI project.

Hello everyone! I’m not entirely sure if this is the right subreddit for this, so please point me in the right direction if it isn't.

I ran out of message limits on all my AI accounts and got a bit bored, so I decided to share what I've been working on for the past 16 days with varying degrees of success.

I’ve been trying to build something I've wanted to see for a long time. I have absolutely zero knowledge of programming languages, and honestly, I've always been too lazy and felt a bit too stupid to learn one properly. But that's beside the point. You can check out the attached video to see what's already implemented and working.

I specifically directed the AI to use the azalea server protocol along with a few other specific components. I want to say a huge thank you to the creators of azalea and everyone who contributed to it - without your work, my project wouldn't even be halfway to where it is right now.

For those curious about the AI stack, here is who made the biggest impact:

1. ChatGPT 5.5 (Extra High)
2. Claude Opus 4.6
3. Claude Sonnet 4.6
4. Roughly tied for the rest were Gemini 3.5 Flash and Gemini 3.1 Pro.

If anyone has any advice or just some words of moral support, I'd really appreciate it!

P.S. Just a heads-up: I probably won't be releasing the source code for at least another month. There are many reasons for this, but the main one is that I don't want to publish it until I am at least 50% satisfied with the project myself.
