Can high e2 prevent gains on cycle?

I’ve been on 175 mg trt for a while with some orals here and there and I’ve made great progress . I started my first “real” cycle of 700 test 11 weeks ago now and seem to have made no gains whatsoever, less than if I would’ve just stayed on trt. Very flat muscles too.

I can only find old forum posts on this but is the high e2 causing this? Obv e2 is very high but I dont have the crazy obvious signs. Thanks.
