Why not also sell Steammachine bearbones?

Let me figure out myself what SSD and RAM I'll fit.

Both the SteamDeck and Steam Controller have been designed to work on yourself and the same goes for the Steammachine.

So why not let the buyer figure it out if they opted for it? It should do wonders for availability and pricing.

I did got lucky and got in the que for the 512 with controller, and when it arrives I'll exchange my 2gig SSD from my SteamDeck, which I fitted a year ago before the IA rouse. And the dual channel RAM of my laptop is going into the Steammachine as well.

I guess I'm not alone and people would opt for a route to decide for themselves, make it a bit more DIY and profit for both Valve and potential users.
