Fuel door not opening...

Hello, recently acquired a 2026 PHEV Santa Fe calligraphy! Amazing car but can't get the fuel door open. All doors are unlocked, engine is off but it looks like it's jammed. If I do the manual release from the inside will that damage it long term I'm any way?
