Tired of seeing Indian students get scammed
I'll keep this real. Most of us know someone who paid a consultancy ₹1.5–2 lakh and got a copy-pasted SOP, a university list that was really just wherever the consultancy gets commission, and a person on the phone who'd never set foot outside India advising them on visa interviews. Some get pushed toward expensive private universities for the kickback. Some just get ghosted after paying.
A friend and I went through the whole Germany move ourselves — Studienkolleg in Düsseldorf, APS, blocked account, visa interview, finding a flat, the works. We're both working students here now. And every time someone back home messaged us asking "is this even possible for my profile," we realized we were giving better, more honest advice for free than people were paying lakhs for.
So we started doing it properly. We've helped our first 5 students completely free — no charge — partly because we genuinely wanted to, and partly because we'd rather build trust than fake a track record we don't have yet.
A few honest things we tell everyone:
If your odds are long, we'll say so on the first call instead of taking your money. Germany's public universities are basically free tuition, which changes the whole maths if you pick the right course and country. And you'll talk to us directly — not a call centre reading a script.
Not trying to hard-sell anyone here. Mostly I'm curious: for those of you who used a consultancy, what was your experience — helpful, or a ripoff? And for anyone stuck on APS / visa / blocked account, ask away, happy to answer for free in the comments.
