I built a social platform for sharing daily thoughts, ideas, stories, and experiences.

I've been building MyWrittings for the past few months, and today I finally feel like it's in a state where real people can start using it.

The idea started with a simple question:

Why do most social platforms optimize for consuming content instead of expressing yourself?

I wanted to build a place where people can share anything that's on their mind—stories, daily thoughts, ideas, experiences, opinions, images, or videos—without feeling like every post has to become a viral reel.

So I built MyWrittings.

Current features:

  • ✍️ Create text, image, and video posts
  • ❤️ Like and comment on posts
  • 👤 User profiles
  • 📰 Personalized feed
  • 🔍 Discover content from other creators

This has been a huge learning experience. I've handled everything myself—from designing the UI and backend to deploying the website and preparing for launch.

I'm still improving it every week, and I'd genuinely love honest feedback from people who enjoy trying new products.

If you'd like to check it out, it's available at https://www.mywrittings.com.

What do you think is missing from today's social platforms that would make you actually want to post more instead of just scrolling?
