Atomic Black Thor

I have a black Thor, I’ve seen people dye their tpu shells and that made me think about buying clear purple cover plates from customer support and dying them a light enough coat of black so they’d still be see through. (I can put cool stickers and stuff on my console without having to increase its size)

Has anyone done anything similar or are experienced in dying plastics?
