Xenoverse 3 Hate
Bro why is there so much genuine hate for the game. It's not even coming out this year, we've seen 10 minutes of gameplay that's clearly going to change before release, and somehow people are already hating on it. First it was people ASSUMING we wouldn't have character customization, hating on an animated announcement trailers designs, then it was people assuming they removed other races, now it's people who are just calling the game Breakers, Battle of Z, Kakarot etc. Oh and don't get me started on the SOUL CHANGE.
Why is everyone so miserable. Xenoverse 1 was admittedly pretty terrible, if it wasn't DragonBall it would be laughed at. Xenoverse 2 came out SUPER quick, made LOTS of improvements and is overall the definitive online anime game(Sorry but Shinobi Strikers is a joke).
I'm not saying that being skeptical of the new systems isn't fair, but you have to see this is clearly an evolution of the Xenoverse formula and we've already seen lots of improvements. Even the things you guys complain about like the HUD are either going to change or will likely be customizable. This is the biggest DragonBall Game Project... Ever... It's Xenoverse 2... The Sequel. Having feedback or opinions is cool but I'm just trying to understand why do many people are assuming the worst. You can draw comparisons to other games, like Breakers and such but that game had things even Xenoverse didn't. I'm pretty sure they used it as a soft launch for certain things, like what they did with Xenoverse 2 and the "Conton City Patrol". It was different, and what they've taken from it (soul change, FOV, more customization, and character expression) are all positive additions.
Genuinely want to know what the beef with soul change could possibly be, it's an extra alternative to transformations. Could be useful for early game but also is just cool to have more options, especially when it's actually good. YES it's xenoverse the focus is always on your CAC, they even have mentors joining you for moves like in XV1. Genuinely what is the problem with it as an extra OPTION. Especially if we're going to have more customization than ever before. We can change things like body types, fighting styles, more accessories, even rooms. But being able to become an empowered version of a character is so bad it needs to be removed? Why?
