Does this DJS + rhinoplasty simulation look anatomically realistic? Looking for opinions before in person consultations.

Hi hi!

I'm considering double jaw surgery (DJS) with a rhinoplasty, mainly for aesthetic reasons, and would really appreciate some opinions from people who've been through it.

For context, I've already had braces, but I still have an edge-to-edge bite with slightly flared incisors compensating for it. Several clinics I've contacted online have said I have the appearance/"illusion" of an underbite, even though I don't have a true underbite. It's something I've been self-conscious about for a long time.

I currently live overseas, so I can't easily attend in-person consultations or get a CT scan yet. Because of that, I had a profile simulation made to visualize a possible outcome. I know it isn't a treatment plan and that exact movements can't be determined from photos alone, but I'm hoping to get a rough idea before my consultations later this year.

I've attached my current profile alongside the simulation.

My questions are:

  • Does the simulated result seem anatomically feasible?
  • If so, what skeletal movements does it suggest (e.g. Le Fort I advancement/impaction, clockwise or counterclockwise rotation, mandibular advancement/setback, genioplasty)?
  • Is there anything in the simulation that looks unrealistic or unlikely to be achieved with orthognathic surgery and rhinoplasty alone?

I'm not looking for a diagnosis ofc - just opinions on whether the simulation seems realistic so I know what to discuss during consultations and what expectations are reasonable.

Thanks in advance! :))))))
