There is a girl I like but I don't know how to ask her out

There is a girl I like but I don't know how to ask her out. I am a awkward guy, and when it comes to conversation, I don't know what to say. Sometimes when chatting with her, I just freeze up not knowing what to talk to her about or text. I have always had this problem for a while when talking to people, even my close friends. I don't know what to do. Recently I want to ask her out but I can't even find the confidence to do so.
