Manga from 5+ years ago — legendary figure people falsely claim to be,

I read a few chapters years ago.

Premise: a legendary hero/savior existed, and many random characters fought demons while claiming "I am that person." Black and white, Japanese, serious/dark tone. Title may start with R or S.

Any ideas?
