uti for 3 weeks or more straight.

hey everyone.. i've had a uti for 3 weeks (or more, im losing count) straight now, after being complicated-uti free for over 15 years (i used to have chronic utis from 5-10, then occasional utis after sex that went away with antibiotics)

it was triggered by sex with a new partner. and i have done sti testing and it isnt that. i started with macrobid, didnt feel any symptom relief after 3 days. then swapped to cephalexin for like 3 days. then got a call from urgent care telling me to stop taking cephalexin because my urine culture came back clean, but i had bv + yeast infection and to take metronidazole instead + yeast infection prescription (dont remember name). everything cleared up, felt good. had sex again. uti came back. urgent care doctor decided to put me on cephalexin again while we waited for my urine culture and ureaplasma test. cephalexin like barely(??) helped at all.. went away sometimes and felt completely fine, flared up sometimes randomly like it wasnt working at all, very confusing. get call back. urine culture was too contaminated to determine what is going on, but ureaplasma came back positive. prescribed doxycycline for the ureaplasma. im now on day 3 of the doxycycline and not only do i feel like it's not doing anything, but the uti symptoms feel worse than they did when i was taking the cephalexin that was like half working half not. ive tried to follow the dairy rule but now im wondering if ive fucked up with things that have dairy in it that i didnt rly think about. also not to mention, i feel like i have a yeast infection again or im wondering if my symptoms are just bv/yeast infection again like last time and NOT uti and i cant tell the difference? but i do feel the constant urge to pee.. idk

i know i need to follow a post sex routine and i 100% plan on doing it, but how do i get through this nightmare so i can even start a preventative routine. currently wide awake at 2 am just waiting for time to pass by so i can go to urgent care in the morning, but they told me theyre just going to send me to a urologist. also, since this clearly seems to be triggered by this partner, is there anything i can ask of him like is there some infection?
