I’m so confused with CEM changes

Hey guys, I’m newer to Michaels (3 months) and was hired for PT CEM. I have many years of management experience. I’m mainly closing which I don’t mind. But I got told about this new management changes and how our roles are changing. I’m getting changed to pt merchandise manager and no longer will be closing and will be working mainly later mornings. Idk how to feel about this. I’m still learning a lot about the company. We have a pretty good management team and are all very close. We don’t have drama and all respect each other and get along which is so rare in retail. I’m scared this is going to ruin it for me. We have a full crew FM, ops, 2 CEM one part time (which is me) and a replen manager. I wasn’t told much more but anyone with more info can you explain the change more? Or how it is working out for you? Thanks!
