Depression

I am currently in the third part of book 3 and... man... this is my favourite book of the series so far! love it. First book so far I am actually fully invested on everything. Everything feels balanced, the action, the calmness. The time we spend with the characters , learning about the empire, the Mericani and the Quite, the character development ....all

But ..

I am actually considering stopping after that. I just can't keep going after every time I really enjoy something, Ruocchio just pops up and says:

"Do you enjoy this? Let me remind you that in the end all your favourite characters die and Hadrian is left alone and sad :)" .

And I am like : Thank you my Goodman! Very encouraging for me to buy the rest of your books and learn about their tragic sad deaths and how Hadrian is left miserable and sad! Thank you I really need this!

That is a lot depression I don't need.
