New Player to TLOF

I have got both TLOF1 & TLOF2. Planning on playing them as a binge match tomorrow.

As a new player, what should i look out for? or is TLOF more of the type of games to just walk around and find stuff? I enjoy zombie games like this alot and was just wondering.

Cheers friends
