Question about minimum thickness of rotors

Question

Hello,

I have a question for you guys. What I know about minimum thickness is that anything below must be replaced because of safety. I found a video on YouTube that says a rotor with a minimum thickness can take a full set of pads. Minimum thickness doesn't mean that you need to replace it immediately. Is there any reference that you guys can show me to do a fact check?
