Looking for insanely gripping, unique movies that keep you hooked from start to finish (any language)

I've already watched and loved:

Mad Max: Fury Road

Train to Busan

Breathe

Inception

Oldboy

Incendies

Polytechnique

The Substance

The Circle

I'm looking for movies that are:

Absolutely engaging from the first few minutes.

Unique or mind-blowing—not generic action or thriller.

Constantly keep you thinking or on the edge of your seat.

Have strong direction, tension, or unforgettable twists.

Any language is fine (Korean, Spanish, French, Japanese, etc.).

Some examples of the vibe I'm after:

Non-stop intensity like Mad Max: Fury Road or Train to Busan.

Mind-bending like Inception.

Emotionally devastating like Incendies.

Dark, shocking, or psychologically gripping like Oldboy or The Substance.

Please don't recommend slow burns unless the payoff is genuinely incredible.

Some movies already on my watchlist: Parasite, Memories of Murder, The Wailing, I Saw the Devil, The Invisible Guest, The Handmaiden.

Looking for hidden gems or lesser-known masterpieces that made you think, "How have more people not seen this?"
