Anybody else wish class progress transferred between different versions of the same class?

I'm somebody who likes to explore every nook and cranny of any video game (Just as planned!) However one thing that bugs me about Darktide is that class progress does NOT trasnfer over to another version of the same class (If you play Arbites 1, then guess what? you can't keep the progress and items for Arbites 2)

As someone who played the shit out of Verrmintide 2, I'm surprised as that game required you to grind out an entire "Career"/Class to unlock the next while also allowing you to keep loadouts within the same class. Everything transfers over smoothly while in Darktide it simply doesnt.

This is especially confusing when loadouts in Vermintide were supported by Fatshark, meaning you can have plenty of entirely different loadouts for a single character (One Build for Slayer could be dedicated just to hordes,another for elites etc) Which ironically enough also limits player expression if you like to use different cosmetics,skins,weapons etc etc for the same class albeit with a different setup, hell the reason I even made this post was because I wanted to have a male and female arbiter and hear/see the differences in them gameplaywise but in order to do that, I have to pay 50k over and over.

Idunno maybe it's just me but regardless, what do y'all think?
