Suggestions for movies my husband and I could watch together

We struggle to find a movie we both enjoy. I like police / legal dramas, time travel, whodunnits etc. He likes easy- to- follow plots, police films are ok as long as the good guys win. He hates any suggestion of glorifying crime. He likes movies with Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Denzel Washington. We’ve seen Deja Vu and both liked it. Help!
