First timer, wanting to get a fight stick.

Long time fighting game casual, I play a lot of SF6 online and me and my friends play 3rd strike on weekends. I finally want to "upgrade" and get 2 fightsticks. But I have no experience on if theres important things to consider buying them. Any Advice where to look or if its cheaper/better to get parts and assemble it myself.
