Do you actually read job application questions?

Haven't found a post on this so don't roast me.

I'm being told this position has >300 applicants. Does anyone actually read what we write for the job application questions or do they mostly just look at CV? If yes - in detail, or a quick skim? I'm going to do my best regardless, but it's really hard figuring out what to write for some of these questions sometimes, so I would feel slightly reassured by being told these are a bit inconsequential lol

If you do value these questions, then what sparks your interest/ what do you want to read? Do you want more clinical v non clinical examples?
