Audiences flat out just don't like this version of supergirl herself

I know all the reviews are praising Alcock's performance and blaming the script or the director or the visuals but no one is talking about how audiences just don't like the main character. The version of supergirl being drunk and making crude jokes and having pissing scenes just isn't clicking for the general audience. They didn't read woman of tomorrow and most think of the previous iteration of supergirl, positive, sweet, naive, ect
