I'm kind of an AI hater, but Notion AI is genuinely useful
I just finally got around to trying Notion AI in its current state (and thus updating my plan), and I have to say that I'm impressed by its capabilities. I always stopped building my systems at a point where there was so much manual labor involved that I felt like the time I was spending wasn't worth the time the system should save later on. Plus, if something didn't work out as intended, there was, again, so much manual work to be done - settings filters, configuring views, etc. Notion AI really does a very good job of doing the dirty, boring and error-prone work for me, and I really love that.
However, one could also argue that Notion took the easy way out and that there should be better UI/UX concepts for certain things, e.g. editing multiple views across different linked databases at once. But since these possibilities don't exist via the UI, using AI to do it is really the way.
That's it, just wanted to share for people who might be reluctant on giving Notion AI a shot. Also, if you're building a large system for you (Life OS or sth), you can always upgrade, build the thing with AI, and then downgrade your plan again. However, I am somewhat excited to see what else this thing can do for me.
And yeah, I really don't see a lot of value in most AI things, but this one is really cool.
