Need advice on renting in Singapore as a future expat with two cats

Tourist/non-local Question

I am currently visiting Singapore for a new employee training program at a company located in the CBD (postal code 048693), and today is my sixth day here. I'll be leaving Singapore next Tuesday and waiting about two months for my Employment Pass to be approved before relocating to Singapore.

When I come back, I'll be bringing my two indoor cats with me. They will have to stay at the government-run quarantine facility for 30 days before they can come home with me. I'd like to prepare as much as I can before I leave next week, so that I can find a place and move in as soon as I return to Singapore.

Over the past few days, I've contacted several agents through PropertyGuru and EdgeProp, but I've been getting the same response that their units aren't suitable for my situation. Maybe it's because I don't even know what my salary will be yet.

I'm looking for an entire unit (not co-living), with a private bathroom, furnished, within walking distance of an MRT station, and at least 500 sqft. Is this realistic? Which neighborhoods would you recommend if I'm okay with a 40–50 minute MRT commute to the CBD? I'd also appreciate any advice on finding landlords who are open to tenants with two indoor cats.

Right now I'm sitting at Woodlands MRT. I honestly picked it because I liked the name. I got on the MRT, got off here, and decided to explore the neighborhood.
