help navigating being trans w/ parents??? (16)

Advice Needed

yeah so i'm 16, pass pretty well for someone pre-everything (99% of strangers assume im a guy), came out to my mom when I was like 15 since she has said in the past that she's very supportive of trans people. so turns out she's not, or is uncomfortable with *me* being trans (the classic "it's ok if other people are xyz but not MY kid"), she hasn't said it outright but my older sibling has shown me texts that she sent to them basically saying she thinks I'm being too hasty, don't know how to handle my emotions, etc etc. it sucks a ton to see my own parent say that about me (for more context, I'm very independent, have my drivers license, do a bunch of stuff on my own/handle myself very well so I don't know why she thinks I'm being too immature about this specifically...).

talking about being trans is really uncomfortable for me especially with my mom because of all this. I've tried to push through it in an attempt to make my personal situation a little better, like changing name, pronouns, maybe even mentioning starting hormones (which is far-fetched as a minor, but I gave it a shot anyways)? she took it terribly and refuses to even use gender-neutral pronouns for me. when I mentioned wanting hormones eventually she said that it "scares her" and that she wants me to see a therapist (NOT for helping me navigate being trans, more of "figuring out what's wrong with me", I know this because she sees therapists as something negative and will make fun of people who go to them).

for even more context, I have exhibited signs of being trans pretty much my whole life. I remember telling her when I was like 4 that I wanted to be a boy. I've never liked dressing or acting feminine.

I just feel so stuck. idk if I can wait two more years for things to get better. I already use a preferred name at work and he/him at school, but I am just riddled with fear trying to ask her to use he/him and especially a different name. what's extra conflicting is she is generally pretty nice to me when not talking about me being trans, like she likes to hang out with me and do some stuff together. but whenever I mention being trans i feel like she just hates me. one time I brought up that maybe she could like research a little so she knows more about the subject, like what is hurtful to say to someone who is trans (as politely as I could) and she got incredibly mad at me for saying that.

anyways yeah. i'm really looking for some tips on how to move forward with her when she acts really avoidant/hot and cold about the whole thing. I feel good when with friends/at work because they all seem to see me as a guy, but when I get home I just feel so uncomfortable. thanks for any tips. sorry if this was kind of all over the place lol.
