What Finally Helped My Ringing Noise in Ear Was a Seamless Loop, Not a Louder Sound

For a long time I thought beating the ringing noise in ear meant turning the masking sound up, and I was wrong.

This is masking and comfort, not a cure for ringing noise in ear, and not medical advice, so please see an audiologist for new or persistent symptoms. The real problem was that my old tracks had tiny gaps where they looped, and every silent moment let the ringing surge back and grab my attention. Once I switched to a truly seamless loop at a low volume, my brain stopped getting yanked back to it every thirty seconds. Pitch matching the color helped, but the unbroken loop helped more.

A seamless quiet loop beats a loud one.

I use an app called Mindael because its loops are genuinely seamless with no gap and no ads to break the cover. There is a premium Mood Tracker that can log how the ringing affected my day, but the free seamless masking is the part that actually helps. Mindael also fades on a sleep timer.

Chase a clean quiet loop before you chase volume. Mindael is what I use, not medical advice. Has a bad loop ever made yours feel worse?
