Google Drive is MEGA slow on Wifi but blazing fast on data

One of the weirdest bugs I've seen, basically my Google Drive used to upload very fast on my wifi, but all of a sudden it started taking forever to upload anything. We're talking hours even with the app open. It works perfectly on data and uploads very quickly like it used to on wifi.

A few notes:

1. Wifi speed isn't the problem, I'm very confident it's fast on my phone and it's only drive
2. Uninstalling and reinstalling Drive didn't help
3. This occurs on iOS and a newer phone model

0 idea what could cause this since it used to work beautifully on this network and I haven't changed it to my knowledge. Any help is appreciated!
