Today may nag-comment sa hiring post namin sa Facebook group. Former applicant siya and ang comment niya was:

I didn't reply. Hindi kasi talaga ako mahilig pumatol sa comments like this. I always try to stay professional and keep my calm. Pero napaisip lang ako kung worth it bang mag-respond.

For context, this was for a production worker position. Hindi requirement ang pagiging college graduate. In fact, we regularly hire undergraduates and high school graduates for this role. Educational attainment wasn't the reason.

We interviewed 10 applicants and hired 5. Everyone who was invited had relevant experience or qualifications. At the end of the day, it simply came down to who the hiring manager felt was the best fit for the role and for the team. That's the reality of hiring, sometimes several qualified applicants apply for the same position, but not everyone can be selected.
