Kastalan Robots...help

I played my first game yesterday and tabled kastalan robots (because they look baddass).

HOWEVER... I soon realised that their 6" movement for a vehicle is pretty damning....

Whats the best way to use these guys and/or can you actually use them to good effect? Is there some sort of enhancement or something to help them?
