# Welcome to The Connection Corner! 🎉

This form is designed to help people in the community find others they might click with-whether that's a new friend, gaming buddy, study partner, someone to chat with, or even a potential romantic connection. Think of it as a **vibe-matching quiz** rather than a serious dating service.

This form is meant to match people based on shared interests, personalities, and preferences. What happens after that is entirely up to you!

While I'll do my best to pair people thoughtfully, **there's no guarantee you'll find your perfect match**, and that's completely okay! The goal is to simply help people meet others who might be similar to them.

# Before You Fill It Out

* **Be honest.** The more genuine your answers are, the better your potential matches will be.
* **Be respectful.** Treat everyone with kindness and respect, whether they're your type or not. Harassment, discrimination, or creepy behavior will not be tolerated.
* **No pressure.** If you get matched with someone and you don't click, that's perfectly fine. You don't owe anyone a friendship or relationship.
* **Keep your DMs open.** If the person I match you with can't reach you, there's not much I can do!
* **Don't ghost immediately.** Even if you aren't interested, a polite response is always appreciated. Try to be clear and communicative.
* **Respect boundaries.** If someone isn't interested or asks to stop talking, respect their decision.
* **There is no guarantee:** I'll try my best to make thoughtful matches based on your answers, but not everyone will receive a perfect match.
* **Stay safe.** **Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information. Use common sense when talking to people online, and prioritize your privacy. (!!)**

# A Few (extra) Things to Keep in Mind

* This is just for fun and to help people connect.
* Matches are based on your responses and are **not scientifically accurate** (sadly, I don't have magical matchmaking powers).
* If I strongly feel you'll vibe with more than one person, there are chances of matching you with others as well.
* By submitting this form, you're agreeing to be contacted by the people you're matched with.
* I cannot emphasize this more: **STAY RESPECTFUL AND CONSIDERATE OF THE OTHER PERSON.** My responsibility lies only in matching you with your friend. From your conversations onwards, your responsibility is to stay respectful to each other. I will not be liable if things go wrong- that's on you and how you take the conversation ahead.

On a final note, this is a small project made for fun and to help people meet others they may never have interacted with otherwise. The matches are based on your response, not an algorithm that's guaranteed to find your soulmate (if only it were that easy lol).

Come with an open mind, be yourself, and be sure to remember that the best outcome isn't necessarily finding "the one"- it might just be finding an awesome new friend!

Sometimes the best connections are the ones you weren't expecting.

Good luck, and have fun! <3
