36M UK earning £170k however do not feel financially secure

Hi all

As many of us start, a long time lurker so hello to all and thanks for the great posts that have me contemplating life on the drives to work 😂

Current position:

Salary - Me £170k. Wife £30k part time

House - £400k. £90k equity

Pension - Vanguard SIPP £290k

Crypto - £20k ish

Savings - £50k

Investments. -£70k into a social housing lease. 25 years guranteed at £10% =£600ish a month

No Isa…. I know

Additional info: In no particular order

We are looking to buy a new house at some point soon which will cost around £500-£600k based on what we can ‘comfortably’ afford.

I believe in the next 2/3 years my role will be redundant due to centralisation. £70k after tax redundancy package

I am overpaid for the role i realistically do, i think my next role will he between £120k - £150k

I gave my brother £20k to clear some debts he had. Dont think ill ever get that back and dont expect it tbh

We try travel as much as possible so have been going on 3-4 holidays a year. Think this will change with baby number 2.

Savings per month -£2.5k after expenses each month. I give my parents £500 and charity £250 per month

No contributions along the way from parents on both sides. I had around £100k saved when we got married so paid for the wedding, honeymoon, house etc

Nursery fees are £800 a month as i earn over £100k and this will be £1600 for a period of time 😭

I’m at a bit of a cross roads because i have a really good salary and have been earning £70k plus for the last 8 years. Promoted 4 years ago where salary went from £85k to £130k and then junps of £10-£15k each year. However i dont feel financially secure and im nit quite sure what i should focus on to really build a plan of financial investing smart.

Ps I have wasted £30k ish into crypto and at a push it’s £20k to £15k. You live and learn. Buy high sell

Low 😂

Any thoughts or advice.
