Suggestion for joining PhD

I completed my MTech-VLSI in 2026. Since there is
enough market for freshers, I’m all out. I’m looking for taking up PhD admission. What do you think of this approach. Do I have to wait for the market openings / Can I join PhD. If I join PhD, what are the chances of getting into Industry again?
